Hi Joe,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Im in Ct and we got hammered with about 2 ft. I managed to get my 42 A stuck out in the front of the house plowing my walkway. I needed my Dodge PU 4x4 to pull me out. Anyway, when I adapted the plow to the tractor, I built a square tubular frame that runs from between the rear housings up to the cultivator mount on the steering box. My feeling is this gives the tractor more strength in the middle and your not relying solely on the strength of the torque tube! I used the fabricated frame to pull the tractor out. Hope this gives you some ideas.
