We used to tractor pull with a 460 and changing injector pumps was almost a weekly thing for a while. Don't remember about a bleed screw on the pump. We always started at the filters and bled the primary then the secondary. After we had good clean fuel through the secondary filter we would crack the line between the filters and the injection pump right where it attaches to the pump. A full tank of fuel helps this process also. After this we would start cranking the engine over and crack each injector line while cranking until we had a good clean stream of fuel with no air bubbles at each injector. This is a messy job but is the only way we found to bleed all the air after changing pumps. After tractor would start and run we would always crack each injector line individually and retighten while it was running to make sure all air was purged. Hope this helps.
