Hi, Converted my A to 12V using the directions on this site, very good directions I might add, anyway with the switch off the altenator is still drawing around 300ma, something I found out after the A sat for a couple of weeks with out running and when I needed it the battery was dead. The question is do I have a bad alt? and I'm thinking of fixing the problem by switching the wire that goes to term 1 so in the off position it is open also like term 2. Would there be a problem with doing this? Otherwise it charges great and has worked out to be a very inexpensive conversion for me, just what I needed right now on my work tractor. Looking forward to some answers/opinions, Lance
