Start the Windows "Paint" program, normally found under the Accessories menu. Open your picture there. Once it's on the screen, click on 'File' in the upper left corner then click on 'Save As'. Select the type of file you want to save your picture as (tiff, jpg, gif, etc.) and what folder you want to save it in. The hardest part is remembering where you put it.
