Never came with any sort of 2 or 3 point. Some have aftermarket 3-point on them. saginawcountytractor.com has a nice 3 point hitch.

The M had a 248 cubic inch engine (likely upgraded to 264 ci).
The Super M had some upgrades in the transmission, faster 3rd and 4th gears, and a 264 cubic inch engine, plus live hydraulics on Stage II Super M.

3 Were any of these ever offered with a wide front end?
M and Super M were offered from the start with wide front end. However, for loader work I recommend an aftermarket Schwartz wide front (around $750 new, $400 used).

4 What size loader can I use on one of these (bucket size)
Any size you want, just depends how much you want to break. Also depends on how the loader mounts. Quick tach loaders put a lot of stress on the frame (torque tube) that the M and Super M can't handle. I've seen a couple broken in half as a result. If you plan on using a Farmhand F10 loader you can have a 8 foot bucket and not harm the tractor, because that is a type of loader that is easy on the front end.

5 Where can I get the specs of these tractors
Some specs are available at http://www.tractortips.com such as horsepower, weight, etc. Other specs can be found in an owner's or shop manual.

Keep in mind that neither of these has live or independent PTO, you push the clutch the PTO stops. The Super M may or may not have live hydraulics driven from the distributor on the engine. (if the battery is under the seat, you have live hydraulics) If you don't have the distributor pump, the hydraulic stops when you push the clutch too.
