If you did a good job on the seal replacement and the bearings and seal running surfaces are all good, then the steering gear should hold OK with the 80-90W gear oil. I've done two rebuilds on C steering gears and both have the gear oil in them and don't leak. On one of them, I had to use a speedy sleeve on the worm wheel shaft because the shaft worn and pitted and I did not think it would hold the oil.
