-To all who responded: charles todd-you are probably right about the curing.As to temperature-shop heated to 75 degrees so paint should have been about that temp.farmhand-I feel there is something different about this paint.When mixed 8 to 1 it seems much thinner than the "old" 2150.El Toro-I didn't check the can for lacquer,just assumed paint was the same. I have never had this happen on the other Farmalls I've painted.CliffS-Yes, I read the directions on the can prior to spraying. No mention of when to apply on my can. CNKS-gun coat applied Friday afternoon in a heated shop with drying fans running. Base coat "felt dry"--probably didn't wait long enough for the paint to cure. Thanks to all for your responses.
