I repainted a 1948 C last fall. Discovered it was stuck and removed the head to find water in the engine. It ran good before being set up for a few years and I'm pretty sure the water came from rainfall in the exaust. I got it unstuck and a friend told me to wash the engine out with diesel and it would be ok. I filled the crankcase as full as I could with diesel and turned the motor over a while with the starter and then drained it. replaced the oil, started it and then drained the oil and replaced it. I am using a non detergent oil. It now runs good but when it warms up I have a bad leak at the front seal. Is there anything I can do other than a teardown and replacing seals that would help thus engine? Rick
