Check with organic farmers in your area, ones that do 5 or more acres of crops. Mechanical cultivation is crucial to our living and we try to learn all we can about it.

You can set your A to do one row or 2. I am more familiar with a Cub, which is great for one row sweet corn. I am setting up a 140 now, since I grow many kinds of crops I set the wheels at 5 feet on center. I plan to grow corn on 30" rows, which is a little tighter than I would like, but its a minor crop for me (not much profit margin, lots of work and risk as others have detailed). I grow other crops on 3 15" rows or one 60" row (the 3-2-1 system), you can do this on 4, 5 or 6 foot beds although the spacing will change. If all you are growing is corn set the spacing so the wheels hit the middle of the row.
