If your carb has a plug in the bottom take it out and verify you have gas. If the gas is NOT present the needle seat is stuck as Red has stated or the supply from the tank is clogged. Gentle tap on the bowl with the handle end of a screwdriver and if you get gas coming reinstall the plug and start the engine. If no gas, take off the inlet line to the carb and determine if gas is present. If gas is present here the trouble is still in the carb. If no gas at the joint the trouble is back toward the tank so continue in the tank direction. At the tank, remove the cutoff valve and verify that you have gas. If present the problem is now between the carb and the valve. If there is no or little gas, the bottom opening in the tank is clogged and you need to run a small screwdriver or a piece of wire up through this hole to unclog the rust. Be prepared to re install the cutoff valve as the gas is going to rush out at this point. Install a line filter in between the tank and the carb to avoid rust into the carb. Start the engine
