Mac, It could be that the injector pump is not timed properly. My MD missed and smoked more at higher speed until I adjusted the injector pump timing. This was a suggestion from the injector pump rebuilder. It is a trial and error process where you move the timing one notch and see if it runs better. The timing is set by taking off the cover in front of the injector pump and moving the position of the pointer. Roger
