you could easily buy a complete transmission for that kind of money from the wreckers im sure .
the trannys in these tractors do not give trouble and are therfore a dime a dozen in the wrecking yards same tranny in the 454 574 674 84s and up and i believe the same with updates and changes of course in the new ones being built today.
