When I was in high school I baled hay with a 55 NH and a '45 H. Small balers were just coming on the market and during the summer I did custom baling as well as our own. When you get used to it you can tap the clutch and pull it out of gear and keep your baler humming right along. The over riding clutch on the baler keeps the drive shaft from propelling the tractor and regaining forward motion again is done by stepping on the clutch and putting it back in gear. I never felt I had to have live power. The H was my dad's and I still have it.
