There was a complete change in these ty-rods somewhere near end of Super A production. The older ones had a ball right on end of controll arms and matching socket on ty-rod. I have seen a tractor with the new on one side and old on other side. It looked rather odd but every item must interchange. I personally have never had a tractor with the old style ty-rods and really have never looked real close at the old ones. On the newer type the actual ty-rod is much heavier on 100, 130 and 140 than on late model Super A. The heavier ty-rods don't bend quite as easly.
