eric, this is not an oil line but it is part of the crankcase ventilation system. On the right side of the engine is a plate that has a tube that hangs downard and curves torward the rear of the engine just inside of the frame rail. Inside this plate is a fine wire mesh filter, air enters the crankcase through this filter, goes through the line from governor housing to front of the head, through the line with the hole in it and out the rear of the head to the air cleaner stack. It is important that all fittings are tight and in good condition. Hope this helps, good luck.
