To burn kero, you need to have H equivelant to the way the kero burning option H was from factory. That would include the following items, 1. dual fuel tank and fuel line to sediment bowl 2. the kero jetted carburator 3. the heat adjusting manifold 4. the kero burning head(changes compression slightly) 5. and functional radiator shutters. The kero burning H's from factory where equiped with these items. For a kero burner to run, these options on a kero burner H, would pretty much have to be present and functional. You would have to make suitable conversions for the gas burner to be made to run on kero, because the gas burners were equiped a little different from factory. The last time I checked on the price of kerosene, was from a small handler a few years ago, and it was like 2 something a gallon. Gas might be high, but I don't know if kero would be much cheaper. It is kind of a speacialty fuel these days because of not being widely used. Its kind of debateable by some, but my opinion is that the kero burner H put out slightly less power than the gas burner. I'd just stick with gas even if you got a kero burning H.
