I was in a tractor shop one day and this guy had an H torn down, someone decided to weld the manifold when it was still on the tractor, slag got into the valves and onto the top of a piston, so just a warning about your repair. I am of the opinion that if a manifold is in that state its time for a new manifold. The new repro manifolds are excellent and with new gaskets the tractor always runs with a better flow and seemingly more power...........Mike in Exeter Ontario
