Price on 826

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE INFORMATION I POSTED BEFORE THIS EFFECT YOUR ADVICE. I am looking at an 826, in need of paint job, tranny beautiful, shifting a bit sloppy, smokes but runs great. Price is 3000. Is this a good price? Wide front. I am yet to see one this low, and have been looking for one that may need a little TLC. Is this the one? Or could it be that the owner would need a lot of TLC because of the headaches it causes? Thanks for the advice.
