On the subject of fuel, my H owners manual says
"Provision is made in the design of this tractor
so that it may be equipped with either a gasoline,
distillate or kerosene-burning engine." Note the
conjuction OR denoting an alternative name for
distilate in case it was not known as distilate in
your local area. Here is a link for more info on
oil refining from my employer Ashland Oil. Please
take notice of the errors that Steamer made
concering how oil is refined the process is still
one of distillation. Cracking is used to convert
gas oil to gasoline thus giving us more gasoline.
If we need more Diesel and home heating fuel we
