The operators manual I for H and HV (Hi-clearance)shows trqansmission and differential case (together) capacity is 6 gallpon. Rear axle drive housing is 3quart each side for HV (Hi-clearance) only. The book shows SAE-90. The IH Lift-all manual (GSS-5034) says," Use only clean oil of the same viscosity as used in the tractor engine. Never use crankcase drainings'.The Lift-alloil capacity will depend on what type cylinders you use (single acting or double acting) and how many.Do not fill above the full mark on the dipstick. To get the full benefiof your lift-all, you may want to buy the manual. I don't own one. Ijust have the manual cause a dealer went out of business and I bought the menuals that had been ordered, but, never picked up.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
