300 question

i just finished my 300 rebuild last month. ive been using it a little around the house skidding logs for firewood. I ran it for a few hours a few weeks ago and it ran great. a few days later, i started having serious rust in gas problems. so i took the tank off and sealed it, cleaned sediment bowl, line, carb. it hasnt been the same since, it runs great at idle, till about half throtle. then it starts to spit and sputter, if i ease it back to half or less, its fine. so i have new points, condensor, rotor, coil, plugs. ive tried adjusting the carb some more, and i cant get it any better. im at my whits end. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated-thanks, nate
