It' not all that much trouble to drop the lift-all. It's pretty heavy, so you need some support. It has a coupling kind of like a lovejoy, but it's metal that drives it. Make sure you get the mounting bolts tight when you reinstall it. I put a clutch in an "M" a few years ago that had the clutch fingers torn off when the liftall bolts go loose, let the unit sag and the coupling wiped out the fingers. It should take about 15-20 minutes to drop it.
