If storing for 2 years, and back a couple times a year, I would store the tractors so they are operational. This would mean, dont't drain fluids and so on. I would put an additive such as stabil in the gas. Check antifreeze strength on your last return before winter (This very important). Make sure they are stored indoors on a dry dirt floor and not under a leaky roof. Starting them and driving them around the yard if nothing else would be important on your returns. Leave battery's fully charged and unhooked while you are gone. Taking them out would be better. Always check for rat and bird nests on the exhaust manifold before starting. I store an H through the winter all the time and don't do much more than check antifreeze and disconnect battery. I have an F-20 that probably doesn't get started more than a couple times a year. It ussually is stored with hardly any gas in it, I check the antifreeze in fall and that is about it. Haven't had any troubles yet. Just that bird nest one time on the H's manifold that I didn't catch and almost started a fire when I started it up. If you are going to be tottaly gone for lengthy spells such as 6 months at a time, I would have a friend, relative, neighbor or whatever to watch out for theft. Espeacially if stored in a remote place. You wouldn't want those tractors to be stolen and gone when you come back on the return. It would be easy for a theif to get away with them if nobody was watching out.
