'41 Farmall A water pump trouble

The water pump seized on my 1941 Farmall A. I just need help in getting it to come apart. I've removed the pump from the tractor, split the pump, and removed the belt pulley. At this point, I'm trying to get at the bearings. Should the shaft just pull out? There are no visible pins or clips. Schematics, tips, photos, etc. would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
