I recently bought a Farmall A that has a C 135 engine from a 340. The Farmall A manual I have says the oil capacity is 5 qts for the C 113. When I changed the oil last night, I drained nearly a gallon and a half out of the oil pan, and the dipstick had shown that it was nearly a quart low before I drained it. I put 5 qts of oil back in and the dipstick shows that it is over a quart low now. Can anyone tell me for sure the capacity of the C 135 oil crankcase capacity. I don't want to overfill it, but want to make sure it has enough lubricant. Also, the governor casing has a removable cap on it that looks like you should be able to fill it with some sort of fluid. Again, the Farmall A manual shows no cap on the governor casing. What do I put in there and how much? In the attached photo, you can see the cap on governor casing just below the A emblem.
