A hammermill is rated by the width of the hammer rotor. They came in inches for width. An H will handle anything up to 9in or so 6 was very common and a traveling table is the best then the next problem is how high in the air you are blowing this determines a lot of the capicity. Ours was a MONTGOMERY WARD and we blew about 18 ft. The B would gring almost as fast as the M as the pulleys were different sizes. Do you need one? They can still be found here in IOWA but are getting hard to find as the GRINDER MIXERS are popular and they are lots of smaller ones of these around.
