You will have to remove the head to seak repair. Did the threads pull off of the stud? Or did the threads pull out of block? You should be able to tell by looking at the stud that pulled out. If the stud still has its threads on it, then you damaged the block threads. If the stud threads are gone (more likely than not) then you probably done more damage to the stud then the block. In this case (and maybe try it anyways) try to retap the block threads and try a new stud. You will have to retap to clean out the threads off the stud that are left in there. Otherwise you will have to drill and use a helicoil or something of that nature.
