Last year my Justin and I dragged a 1957 230 out of a neigbors hedgerow, so we could try to get it running for him, For starters the engine was stuck from sitting for two years, so out came the penetrating oil, it freed up, easily, then we rewired it, got the starter, generator, and voltage regulator, rebuilt, cleaned the carb, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor. When we darined the oil about a galllon of water came out because the oil fill cap was off, after putting new oil in, and fresh gas we rolled it out of the barn, stuck the booster pack on it and gave it a shot of ether, and it started, it runs good, it smoked for a feww minuted till the oil we had out in the cylnders burn off, then it clearded up and ran great, Dave m
