Hello: I own an older model Farmall Cub (Model FCUB). It has a magneto ignition system. I have owned it 3 years. It will not start below 70 degrees temperature. It turns over fine (good battery), has excellent compression on all cylinders, and I have rebuilt the carburetor. It will fire on one cylinder but will not "catch". When it is summer it will start on 1-2 cylinders after careful choke adjustment. It will rum 2-3 minutes, pick up a cylinder, then after another 2-3 minutes it will run on all 4. Sometimes if you shut it off hot it is hard to start too. I want the tractor to run at least to 32 degrees (I live in Indiana). Any suggestions??? Thanks, Jim Murray smurray@hsonline.net
