When you say spring loaded resetting, do you mean trip bottoms or trip hitch? Does this plow have a box beam diagonally across top of plow beams? Is it on rubber or steel? My thoughts are that this is (its trailer right) a number 60 but could be a 70. Does the hydraulic cylinder lie paralell to and on top of plow frame, or does it run from plow frame to left wheel shaft? What is clearence from plow point to frame above it? What is clearence between plow beams, by that I mean beam that bottoms fasten to? The 70 has more clearence both ways than 60. I have a manual for a 60, clearence figures for it are in there, I can't seem to put my finger or eyes on them, will keep looking. We will nail this one.

Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
