T/A is a torque amplifier, they have a habit of going out and are expensive to repair. On a 460 (if it has one) it will be to the left of the seat, a long handle with a squeeze grip to release. You pull it back and its like the tractor has shifted down a gear without clutching. This was designed for field tractors so that when they hit a "hard" spot with a plow or something you could downshift without clutching, then shift back up when you got to "easier" ground. There is a good chance the utility doesn't have one, shouldn't need it for what you have planned anyway. The 460 will be great on a bush hog with live PTO and live hydraulics. I think I misread your first post and thought you said cab, not carb. Hope it works out.
