well I'm getting closer to starting the super a after a engine rebuild. One thing I didn't do was replace any parts in the oil pump, I took it apart, didn't really know if it was good or bad, but it was a pump. I've checked the gauge using compressed air to calibrate it and it's ok. So I put the battery back in, and with the plugs out started cranking, I was expecting to see the gauge move but it didn't. I was told by the engine rebuiler that I should have pressure before trying to start. So ? what should I do ? Should I be priming the pump somehow ? should i try to start it anyway ? I've got tonns of the prelube over everything. Thanks in advance. Brian
