The thrust bearing is a 6203 bearing that is used in many generators and alternators, you just need to pop out both rubber seals with a jack knife and install it on the brass thrust sleeve. This bearing can be pickup up at any good parts store for about $5. If you want to go to that John Deere store, they use the same bearing for there pilot bearings for a 4020 clutch. While you are going inside that governor I would do a good cleaning and make sure that the rockershaft where the needle bearing ride is not pitted from those bearings riding in the rockershaft lever. This is where a governor gets it's sensitivity from. Also check the looseness of the weights and pins, I bet they are loose. The job of the governor spring is to give you speed it really does not control the sensitivity. E-mail me if you need more help. GOOD LUCK
