Try rolling the tractor ahead while it is on flat ground. If the axle is bent then the top of the tire will wobble in and out as it moves. Highly unlikely that the axle is bent. You would have had to have had a very memorable moment to put that much pressure on it. Most likely a bearing. Also check the axle clamps. Know a guy with an IH 1466 that thought the bearing went bad. He was pleasantly surprised when it only took a little tightening of the wheel's axle clamp.
