Am I right in assuming you just have the tractors now, no loaders? The loader for wide front must be type to go over front axle. The wide front must be the newer type IH with ty-rods behind axle, or any of the after market front ends designed for those tractors. The loader and front end you buy will fit either tractor. Most people tend to put loader on larger tractor, I don't agree, The SH will do loader work just as fast as M, with counter weights on back of tractors. The M may need more counter weight than SH as the engine is much heavier. The M however will greatly out perform the SH on the manure spreader, dump trailer, etc. My opinion, always keep the larger tractor free for drawbar or pto work, that's where the hp is needed.
