On a forum recently, someone was asking about the "bulb", really the correct name is "lamp", for the older tractors. For anyone who may be interested, the 6 volt lamp 1129 is 21 candle power, 2.63 amps. In 1996, GE still offered this lamp, GE reference number 26872. The 6 volt lamp 1133 is 32 CP, 3.91 amps, GE 26885. I think the 1133 was the original for the headlamps. It certainly was for the Allis Chalmers tractors which also used Guide lamps. JD also used Guide lamps. Some models of Tensor "high intensity" lamps also used the 1133. Some of those lamps were at a dollar store nearby, pack of 2 for dollar. I bought what I thought would be a lifetime supply- lived longer than I thought. Have not seen them there again.
