I was at a friend's truck shop awhil back. They were bolting a new core in the radiator tanks for a large truck. A fan bearing had gone kaput and got into some of the fins. When they pulled the tank off, I saw what turned out to be epoxy coing out of some of the tubes. They were a couple hundred miles from the shop. They fixed the fan problem, but, no way would the radiator hold water to get in. They hooked a vacuum cleaner up to the filler neck, waited awhile, then, one at a time openned up the tubes with a pocket knife and injected epoxy (the kind that comes in two tubes) into the hole, then went to the next one, etc. They then drank a cup of coffee, refilled the radiator and came on in.Turns out, this is a common, get home fixit for truckers.
