I have seen them bring anywhere from $1000 to $3000 on farm sales. Depends who is there that wants it. I have a 706 gas myself. I feel that they are a great tractor. The 06 series was a turning point for Farmall/International. Good brakes, good hydraulics, heavy transmission and rearend, good power steering, good power, fuel economy OK, and improved comfort. I know where there are 706 gas tractors on dealers lots for $5000. I don't think you could go wrong paying up to $2500 to $4000 if the tractor was good and you needed it. Certainly it would need to have a 2 or 3 pt hitch, decent tires, decent seat to bring that much. I have bigger and newer tractors but I like the operation of my 706 the best. 706 is much easier on fuel over the 806.
