I posted a message earlier this year about my 1940 H's Hydraulic pump not working. I talked about pulling out a lever while the clutch was being pushed in and how when the clutch was let out you could hear somethig start to hum. Well I found out that the lever I was pulling was engaging a Torque Amplifier. whoever installed it just drilled a hole through the housing in which the pump sits. Would this affect the Hydraulic pump, or keep it from working. If I can't get it working, is there somwhere I can buy a new pump that I can install without special tools. I also want to ask if there is any known problem with putting Chloride in the tires tho get traction. also I wanted to know how much it would cost if I stripped the chipping paint off my tractor and repainted it, my tractor has no rust, I just don't want it to rust, do to the chipping paint. what are things and tools I need to repaint it. Also, is their a certain type of rubber tires which are better than others.
