Leon, The con on a 3pt with an H is that the price of the 3pt will be a substanial per centage of the value of the tractor. The pro is that you can then use a lot of implements you can't now, thereby adding a whole lot of usefulness to the tractor. If you're only going to use a finish mower, and don't need to lift it; you can jury rig some arms off the swinging draw bar and triangulate with chains to pull the finish mower for a lot less money. The pull type mower we had with our H when I was a kid (oh so many years ago) was a bush hog type. The finish mower leaves things looking like a lawn, the pull type gives you a hay field look. If looks aren't important, you can tackle a lot more overgrown stuff with the pull type than you'd ever be able to handle with a finish mower -- in real tall grass, they'll just stall out on you and burn the belts. Sum it up by saying it depends on how you want the field/lawn to look, how often you want to cut it, and what else do you want to do with the tractor.
