It was heavy alfalfa, and weather was showing some minor sign of breaking, few clouds around. Of course if you get that alfalfa rained on the tedding and raking to get it dried out beats off a lot of leaves. There is no question we did create quite a high risk. Thankfully it paid off.

The other item I didn't mention was, as he arrived I was putting cows in for milking and his best holstein hadn't come in with the rest. Luckily my brother came through door with the cow before he finished his lecture.
