IF THE FINAL DRIVE FEARING FAILURE WAS A FIX FROM AN IH DEALERSHIP AT THE TIME I BELEIVED THEY STAMPED A TRIANGLE OR DIAMOND ON THE SERIAL PLATE TO SIGNIFY IT WAS DONE,HOW EVER THERE ARE SEVERAL OUT THERE THAT WERE UPDATED AND THEY WERNT STAMPED LIKE 460 WHICH HAS RAN GREAT FOR A LONG TIME WHO KNOWS MAYBE A GREEN DEALER DID THE WORK DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF A LOCAL IH DEALER,I WOULD SAY IF IT HASNT FAILED BY NOW,I WOULDNT WORRY ABOUT IT,AS FAR AS THE PISTON THING,IVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT. HAVE FUN
