Hi there. At are farm we just got a new 9 shank chizel plow and it is a very useful tool. As far as what kind of ground we plow in is mostly clay after the first 3 inches here in southeastern michigan. We pull it with our MF 369 about(145 hp) and it handles it like a dream even better than our International 1086. But as far as bailing goes we also pull it with our 396 and it handles that big Gehl just fine (mostly flat land here) Well good luck!
