Steven Just looking at some old IH sales catalogues and on the field cultivator, chisel plow issue there were 3 separate implements and IH used the word chisel on 2 of them; the vibra shank cultivator, vibra chisel and chisel plow. They classed them as vibrs shank 3 to 7 inch depth, vibra chisel 4 to 8 inch depth and chisel plow 12 inch depth. I believe the wording of this classification did create some confussion. I have seen all 3 of these and not a lot of difference in the shanks of the vibra shank and vibra chisel, however the chisel plow shank is clearly in a class by itself. Material the chisel shank is made from is 1" thick and 2.5 to 3 inches wide.
