Thanks to all who responded on "dying C" Y'all got me on the right track with the fuel system (I would have guessed spark). I found the gasket disintigrating and plugging things up. It starts and idles well now. Thanks Next problem: It idles no mater what position the throttle is in. When I push the throtle handle forward the connecting rod on the right side of the tractor moves like its supposed to. However the rod on the left side does't move at all. If I pull it with my hand the tractor revs fine, and then returns to the idle position on its own. So I know it is not stuck. All the linkages are hooked up. Is this a governor problem? That would be totally foriegn to me. I will need all of your suggestions. It is a good chance for me to learn something new though, that's half my enjoyment with these tractors. Thanks so much -- Martin
