We sport some overkill, but we use our 826. Don't have a tractor between M and 826 (besides my Super M, but I might bale if I can get a hydraulic set up) with a late 80's/early 90's NH baler. I have heard the ULTIMATE machine for baling hay is a 656 hydro, perfect power, the ultimate baling transmission. We used to have a 560 with older IH baler, worked great, but baler didn't have the capacity as the NH we now own, so it was sold. In 20/20 hindsight, we were better off with the IH. Never, NEVER broke down, a phenominal machine, but we wanted bigger capacity. Breaks down a little more than an average amount, and we were discussing one year, as we sat in the shade waiting for my uncle to get parts, that over the last 4 years, we have baled the same amount of hay per hour than with that ol' IH. Funny now, but just try bringing it up when Grandpa or Uncle Todd are jaming their arms up in that baler!!! Good luck.

Flax provided the fibre which w
