Presuming you're using the existing wiring harness on your 560, here's a quick step-by-step:

1 - Label the wires connected to the voltage regulator (there should be 4 of them). Also label the 2 wires connected to the generator. Then remove the old regulator and generator.

2 - At the regulator end of the harness, connect the BAT, GEN and L wires together. Tape the wire that's left (FLD) - it won't be used.

3 - Mount the new alternator. Connect the existing generator A wire to the alternator BAT terminal. Tape off the existing generator F wire - it won't be used.

4 - Connect a short jumper wire from the alternator BAT terminal to the alternator #2 spade terminal.

5 - Run a new wire from the switched side (NOT the hot side) of the ignition switch. Run this wire to one side of an UNGROUNDED indicator lamp holder. Then from the other side of the lamp holder run to the alternator #1 space terminal. Use a #164 or #192 side marker/instrument panel bulb for the warning lamp. (You can substitute 10 to 40 ohm, 5 watt resistor if you don't want a warning lamp.)

If you've wired it correctly, the warning lamp will light when you turn on the ignition, then go out after the motor starts and the alternator begins to charge.
