Haas: Can't argue with you on that price, $8. and I presume you guys are talking US dollars, that means they would be $12. Canadian. another one I find a bit distressing is brake pedal retaining springs for SA $29. Canadian. I haven't come across a replacment that will do the job. I used to feel as though I was just getting in the way at CaseIH, going in for my anual purchase of oil filters, points, fuel bowl screens, springs, etc. Not anymore those guys have made us a viable part of their business. I went in the other day for a box full of what I could have stuffed in my pockets plus a 10 litre jug of hy-tran, $208. Canadian. I remember IH dealer telling my dad about selling a new 45 baler in 1954. He pulled the baler out to farm with pickup. Guy said ,"Back over to that little shed, and I'll pay you for the baler." $1,250. He picked up 5 gal. pail full of quarters and sat them on back of pickup. He said," I think there is enough". Turned out to be $10. too much. My point is, it will soon take a larger box for the cash than for the parts.
