There was a carburetor changeover kit and a distributor changeover kit that came with the firecrater packages. These kits included new jet packages for the carburetor, and a different distributor shaft to change the ignition timing. IH also did make new bases for the H4 magneto to also account for this ignition timing difference. The picture below (sorry about the quality) is a piece of dealer literature that shows which ignition and carburetor packages were included in each set. The H Firecrater set is 374311R. I do have a set of TRW firecrater copies that are 100% identical in dimension, weight, and design of the IH firecraters. If interested, email me for more info.
