I occasionally have trouble starting mine if I let it sit too long (3 weeks or more). A friend has the same problem, and says it'll crank right up if he cleans the points first.

I haven't let it sit long enough to try that trick, but ya might look at yer points while you're snooping around. Check the gap too, while you're at it.
